I am such a blogging slacker!

So, I must admit that it has been forever since I last updated my blog. Sorry. So much has been going on in our lives. As I was creating all of these posts I realized something. My blog is mostly pictures. I guess that old saying about a picture being worth a thousand words has some meaning; at least it does in my world. Anyway, I am not going to promise that I will do better at staying up to date but I sure am going to try. I hope you enjoy catching up on our lives as much as I enjoyed remembering.

Happy Birthday Libby!

OK, it is official. My baby has turned one. I just can't believe it! Where has all the time gone? We had a little party with our family at our house. Libby loved her cake and she ate so much that she got sick and then went right to bed; poor thing. She got lots of great gifts from everyone. Thanks everyone!

Movie Night Birthday Party

So my little girl is getting older faster than should be allowed. Didn't I just give birth to her a couple of months ago? Look at her now, 8 years old and having one heck of girlfriend party in the back yard. She chose a movie night theme this year. We borrowed a projector from Alan and tried to watch a movie on the house but we just could not get it to work right so we ended up bringing D's TV from the basement out and we watched Bedtime Stories. As you can see, the girls had a blast watching the movie in the backyard on blankets with their popcorn, Crush, and movie theatre size boxes of candy.

Bubba Stewart

So one of the highlights of the supercross for Jenn was that Bubba Stewart was racing. She was really upset when she found out that we could not get a poster of him because you had to wait in line for over three hours. So, while everyone else wandered around the pits, I stood by Bubba's tent waiting for him to come out to sign autographs. Being the psyco mother that I am, I pushed and shoved my way through the croud and got a couple of great pictures of him just for Jenn. She was so excited when she saw them. Towards the end of the night, D surprized her even more by buying her a Bubba T-shirt. She just had to wear it to school the next day and looked very cute.

Salt Lake Supercross 2009

Supercross returned to Salt Lake City after being gone for 5 years. We decided that Bubba was old enough to go with us this year. Uncle Bryan took Cole and Alan had Lexi. The kids had so much fun and it was a really good race. As you can see from the following pictures, it was raining and pretty dang cold but we still had fun!

We had so much fun riding Frontrunner and TRAX with Papa.

Easter Party at the Bitner's

Every year we have an Easter party at the Bitner's on the Saturday before Easter. Because of the bad weather this year, we were forced to have the egg hunt in the house. Grandpa and Grandma did a great job and the kids had a blast. We like to take a picture of all of the kids together. Top row from left to right is Brianna, Cole, Jennika and Brooklyn. Bottom row also left to right is Annie, Blake, Abbi, Hallie, and Libby.
