2nd Grade Fieldtrip

Jennika was amazed by how

big these truck tires really are.

Prior to the fieldtrip, D and I

tried to tell her that they had

trucks as big as our house at

the mine but she did not

believe us. After she saw

this tire, she told D that

he was right.

Bubba's Class

I am really glad that Derrek

got to go with Bubba.

They really had a great time

and learned some pretty

interesting facts about the mine.

Farmington Canyon

Derrek and Jennika went on their annual four wheeler ride up Farmington Canyon tonight. For those of you that are not from around here, (Chris) the camera is facing West. That is the Great Salt Lake out on the horizon. The leaves have started to change up there but are still green down here. Daddy and Bubba had a great time riding up the mountain and enjoyed a little picnic on the very top. They stayed and watched the sunset and had some quality daddy daughter time. I am so glad that Jenn enjoys doing those kind of things with her dad. She is just growing up too fast. I look at her and think, where in the world did my baby Bubba go. She is growing like a weed. I swear I have to buy her a new pair of pants every other week. It looks like she is going to be tall just like her parents. Thanks for the great picture of Daddy Bubba!
