Pool Time

Just look at our two little swimmers! Jennika worked really hard on her diving and even did a few great dives off the diving board for the first time. She also loves doing "cannon balls" as you can see in the picture. Brooklyn loved being able to go anywhere in the pool because she had her life jacket on. She still gets nervous in the deep end but once she realizes that she is not going to sink, she has a blast.

Libby's First Trip to the Lake

Little Libby stood in Bear Lake for the very first time. She actually did not mind it much. I love this last picture... "Bear Lake toe jam".

At the Beach

Another trip to Bear Lake has come and gone. The girls love playing at the beach! Jenn is quite the castle builder. This year's trip was a bit hard on mom. On the 24th we all came down with the stomach flu and had to stay cooped up in our room so that we did not get anyone else sick. Needless to say, four sick people locked up in one room for a day and a half does not a fun vacation make. Oh and FYI, having to pay to do laundry can get really expensive. Other than being sick, we had a really good time and we owe it all to Derrek's grandparents. Grandma Bitner gets all the condos reserved and organizes everything and everyone. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for all you do every year!

Swimming at Wolf Creek

We love swimming up at the condo at Wolf Creek! I think that my girls are actually fish in disguise. Jennika is doing great with all of the skills that she learned in swimming lessons the past couple of years and Daddy has been working with her on her diving. Brooklyn is still a bit nervous of the deep end but Daddy got her down there with her floaties and a ring. She was not too happy at first but she relaxed and was really good at kicking her feet to move. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to Bear Lake next week.

Happy 4th Everyone!

Here you go mom. I had this picture taken of Libby at the same time as the ones for her birth announcement. My mom wanted to see how the red, white, and blue ones turned out. Since we live an hour away from each other, I told her that I would post them on my blog so that she could see them.

Little Brookles

So the other day I was taking some pictures of Libby and Brooklyn wanted me to take some of her too. I hate to brag, but man she is such a beautiful little girl! She is so photogenic! She posed herself and even told me when I should take the picture. She is such a sweet little thing you just can't help but love her.

Libby D Bitner

Allison has done it once again. She created this amazing birth announcement for us. Thanks again Alli, you are amazing!
Well Libby is just about a month old now. I just don't know where the time went. She is doing really good. She is still a pretty good baby and she only cries when she has a dirty diaper or is extremely hungry. Jennika and Brooklyn are still adjusting. Jennika is getting really good at watching Libby for me. She even offers to change her diaper. Brooklyn is having a much more difficult time. We are really trying to focus extra time and attention on her to help her cope. We feel so blessed to have three wonderful girls in our family.

The Greatest Man In The World

I have got to be the luckiest girl in the world! I am married to the most amazing man! Derrek is the greatest husband and father that I could ever dream of. We have been married for a little over ten years now and he just keeps getting better and better. I honestly don't know what I would do with out him. I know that I can count on him to take care of all four of us girls. He is a great father to all three of our girls. I love the way he makes sure that each of the girls get an equal amount of his time and love. He takes the girls out on "dates" and makes them each feel special and that they are their daddy's girl. And, believe it or not, after focusing all of that time on his little girls, he still seems to find time for me. I love the way he can make me smile by doing or saying the dumbest little thing. I love the way he makes me feel special even when I don't feel that great inside. He is honestly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, and I am so thankful that he has put up with me for so long. I am so proud of him and very proud to be able to call him my own. Life is never easy, but it is such a comfort to know without a doubt that this wonderful man will be right there beside me for eternity. I love you D!

Now That Is One Great Picture!

First of all I have to say thanks to Derrek's sister, Allison for taking such a great picture. I just don't know what we would do without such a great photographer in the family! This picture was taken for Brooklyn's 3rd birthday. It is hard to believe that my little girl is that old. I keep telling D that they are just growing up way too fast and that he had better get the shotgun ready because we are gonna be in trouble when this one gets older. If Jennika is the "tomboy" of the family then Brooklyn is the "girly-girl". She loves playing dress up and following her big sister around. She loves to sing and dance and is quite the little snuggle-bug. She loves both of her sisters and would fight to the death for either of them if the need arose. If someone is being mean to her sister, you can count on Brookles to take care of the situation. She may look all sweet and tender on the outside, but she is made of some pretty tough stuff on the inside!

T-Ball 2008

Jennika played T-Ball again this year. She did great and really enjoys playing. She had a great coach this year and learned much more about baseball than she did last year. She was one of the best hitters on her team. She loved to play pitcher even though she did not get to very often. Her friend Jenna from school was on her team as well as our friend's daughter Tessa. Their team was called Rip Tide and she was number 5. I think that we have found something that she really likes to do and that she is pretty good at so I think that we will continue playing for a couple of years and see how she likes it. Who knows, she may go pro some day and make us a million.

Our Little Monkey

Jennika loves to climb trees. She is her Daddy's girl, thats for sure. Derrek was outside one day and heard Jenn calling for him. He looked all around the yard and could not find her. Then he looked up, way up into the tree in the front yard and there she was. She was three quarters of the way to the top of the tree. You would think that a seven year old would be a little bit scared, but not our Bubba. She probably would have tried to go farther if D had not told her that she was high enough.

Fishing Trip

Derrek took Jennika on a camping and fishing trip the week after Libby was born. They went up to Strawberry and had a great time! They both caught tons of fish including both of these big ones in the pictures. Jennika loves spending time in the boat with her Dad and is really good at using the net. They had a great time camping and even enjoyed sharing their camp site with some very friendly squirels.

Presenting Libby

Our third beautiful little girl arrived on Friday June 13, 2008 at 2:39 pm. She was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. She is a very good baby and she hardly ever cries. Adjusting to having three girls is proving to be quite a challenge. I find that I have to keep reminding myself that I have three kids now, not just two. Jennika and Brooklyn are both really good big sisters. They are very helpful and always want to love on their baby. Derrek has been great. Anyone that knows him knows that he does not like infants but I can honestly say that he is great with Libby. I love walking into the room to find him cuddling with his girls.
